Undermount Sinks

Undermount sinks are common with custom Countertops. The sink Area is a place that shows off the detail and the craftsmanship of the countertops. In order to display this, an undermount sink is necessary. 

Top mount sinks

A top mount sink basically has a lip around the entire area that holds the sink in place and covers the edge of the countertop. This creates less need for polishing this area of the naterual stone. These types of sinks wee popular with laminate countertops because that area for the sink cutout is covered up.
